Float-O-Booth & Oasis Yurts
Maddie + John have dreamt up and bought to life one of the coolest frickin photo booths you’ve probably ever seen. Designed especially for weddings, events birthdays and parties, this is one horse-float-turned-retro-photo-booth you will not want to miss out on having at your next shin dig or doo. Vintage props galore, retro furniture and rad outdoor games to entertain the crew. Not to mention a top of the line camera, with high resolution printing of your snaps.
We parked the Float-O-Booth up at the the Oasis Yurt Lodge of Wanaka which is also the perfect location for all the above. The venue has a hot tub, accomodation to sleep a small crew or family and it has an epic shared lodge and gorgeous outdoor area for cooking up a storm (or a bbq!), chilling in the sunshine or getting your boogie on. We should probably also mention you’ll be looked after the absolute best hosts, Rusty & Jo!

If you’re after some vintage inspired boho vibes to jazz up your wardrobe that are hand made sustainably, right here in little old NZ then look no further. Charlie from Groover and the Moon sure knows how to sew up a storm and get your threads looking mighty fine. She’s always introducing new funky materials. They are all limited editions so get ya hands on em while they’re hot!
Nicola’s stunning handmade pieces are unique to Wanaka and her designs reflect our jaw dropping surroundings here in Wanaka; the Ridge line + Love Our Kea collections are carefully crafted using traditional metal smithing techniques. A clash of different textures in Nicola’s work are a common theme and a what a treat these wee numbers are.
My Secret Picnic & The Green Room Flower Co
If you’re after lush picnic vibes, grazing platters and florals to match look no further. Chonny has the most insane boho-chic picnic set ups you’ll find. Luxurious linen napkins, rustic cushions and rugs to match you’ll be sitting pretty for the day and night. Rach & Asta from the Green room really know how to style up a flower-power storm when it comes to getting your blooms to match your event and it’s colour palette perfectly. Dried florals are a double win- you can keep them for your wall or pop them in a vase down the track with lasting memories.
Frankie The Nomad & Curls + Cakes
Why go to the bar when the bar can come to you? Only the cutest, most adorable wee caravan bar and one of Wanaka’s originals- these guys know how to whip up a mean mulled wine on a winters afternoon or source only the best local beers and wines along side top notch service and some excellent yarns to go for your Wanaka wedding or birthday bash!
Danni is the baking queen behind Curls and Cakes. Serving up her mouth- watering treats for all spesh occasions. You’ll also find her at the Wanaka Artisan markets so be sure to check her our down there for a sweet treat!
